So what can you receive if you combine industrial style having a prominent fuchsia palette? A motivation shoots from Marisa Belle Photography which has us amazed. After you have inspired from the shop trip, Marisa looked at a concept of printing wedding invites on sheet metal, and it will be history. All the team pulled together contrasting ideas of vintage and modern through style and plush flowers on the Wildflower AZ, crafting a shoot which will feed your whimsical-loving side while also breathing life for your minimalistic and contemporary side!
In the photographer, Marisa Belle Photography: This shoot was inspired throughout a trip to Lowe’s of all places. I was searching for new knobs in my cabinets and wandered in the sheet metal portion of the store. I had been drawn to the dark, oily colour of the sheet metal and wondered, “What would a wedding invitation look like on sheet metal?” I got with my personal favorite calligrapher Jenna Underwood of Paper and Posies Designs and she come up with stunning invitation suite incorporating a leather envelope, escort cards, and copper napkin rings which shoot was created!
I picked the gorgeous Warehouse 215 @ Bentley Projects for its restored brick, matching sheet metal doors, and clean lines. It generated for a stunning backdrop! The bridal look was designed and curated by Risa Kostis of RISTYLE Consulting, an incredible wedding day stylist comes from Phoenix. She chose me to Bella Lilly Bridal-a local boutique-and picked a jaw dropping, classic dress just the right detailing! The jewellery is vintage and pairs fabulously with all the dress plus the vintage aesthetic of the shoot. It was vital to me to add color because warehouses can feel monochromatic and dark but Nicole and Selena of The Wildflower AZcompletely nailed the floral design! It was beautiful and wild and colorful which brought the warehouse to life for me.
Along the same lines of incorporating color, Matiana Mitchell Designs created a amazing colorful canvas painting that many of us utilized as the backdrop for the ceremony space. The colours pop over restored brick, bringing a slightly modern edge to the space. I love every facet of this shoot but the most breathtaking aspect of it’s really the cake! Haley Cairns of Heartsweet Cakes is the next Sylvia Weinstock in my opinion! She has a true gift for creating sugar flowers that could easily be mistaken for real flowers and for this shoot she brought out all the stops covering her three tiered cake in ranunculus, anemones, sweet pea, and roses. It’s worth visiting no doubt!
